LOS ANGELES--()--Laserfiche—a leading provider in enterprise content management solutions—has been recognized for the eighth consecutive year by Gartner, Inc. in the 2016 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management (ECM) based on its completeness of vision and ability to execute. The full Gartner ECM report, which covers Laserfiche Cloud for the first time, is available for download here.

This year, Gartner shifted its definition of ECM to reflect a more integrated approach, “ECM is a set of services and microservices, embodied either as an integrated product suite or as separate applications that share common APIs and repositories, to exploit diverse content types, and serve multiple constituencies and numerous use cases across an organization.” Additionally, Gartner identifies one of the major forces affecting the ECM market as “a new organizational emphasis on creating and improving content-centric processes that boost productivity, foster digital business, and facilitate the use of sharing of information.”1

Laserfiche customers report significant productivity enhancements that optimizes costs and enables a collaborative, digital workplace. As noted in a Gartner Peer Insights Review2, “Laserfiche Cloud has been a significant step forward for us. The solution provides excellent document management with important security features and allows more effective collaboration. … The Laserfiche Connector is a cost-effective way of integrating Laserfiche Cloud with other SaaS systems.”

The Laserfiche suite of ECM products are designed to work together seamlessly to provide an exceptional user experience. Adding to core ECM capabilities, Laserfiche Forms provides a robust Business Process Library—included at no additional cost—that accelerates deployments with a set of packaged, industry-specific processes, web forms and wizard-driven integrations. Laserfiche Discussions facilitates team communication on processes with intuitive features—including team discussions, messaging and document linking—using an integrated social community platform.

“We believe the recognition by Gartner highlights Laserfiche’s innovative solutions,” said Thomas Phelps IV, Vice President of Corporate Strategy and CIO at Laserfiche. “Our customers consistently give us top marks for software features and usability, which is reflected in our high renewal and customer retention rates.”

Ducommun Incorporated, a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer and the oldest corporation headquartered in California, has used Laserfiche since 2007. “We chose Laserfiche because we felt it would deliver the best value and ease of use for scanning, document management and workflow initiatives,” said Hovik Hacobian, Vice President of IT at Ducommun. “With Laserfiche electronic forms and workflow, we transformed how we process accounts payable invoices, expedite capital appropriation requests, and respond to bid and proposal requests.”

“Laserfiche will help organizations deliver business results faster—whether that means saving millions of dollars, driving business innovation or complying with industry regulations on information security and records management,” said Phelps.
