NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dolan Family Ventures, LLC (DFV), a new company that will make focused investments in data, analytics and technology-based businesses, was announced today by Kristin and James L. Dolan.

Kristin and Jim Dolan have a unique understanding of the power of data in media and entertainment that was developed through their experience in the industry and their pioneering approach to the development of census-based measurement and actionable insights.
DFV will be led by Kristin Dolan, who is a founder and the Managing Partner. Ms. Dolan most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Cablevision Systems Corporation, leading all aspects of the company’s cable operations, overseeing thousands of employees, including the company’s entire customer and field service workforce. Among other responsibilities, she oversaw Cablevision Media Sales, the company’s advertising sales division, which was widely recognized for its data strategy that paved the way for an audience-driven approach to television advertising and provided deep insights into audiences in the nation’s most influential viewing market. Ms. Dolan is on the Board of Directors at AMC Networks and The Madison Square Garden Company (MSG) and previously served as a member of Cablevision’s board of directors. Additionally, she has served on the Foundation Board for SUNY Albany and the National Board for Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT).
James L. Dolan is an investor and strategic advisor in DFV.
