FRANKFURT, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--“Welcome to planet electronica” is the message when from 8-11 November, 2016 the international electronics industry meets in Munich. A total of 47 exhibitors from Hong Kong will be presenting their news on seven combined stands organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Messe München International (MMI Asia Pte Ltd).
With more than € 3.5 trillion market volume per annum, the electronics industry counts as one of the most important sectors of industry worldwide. The export of electronic products also accounts for the largest share in Hong Kong: In 2015, it had reached nearly two third of all exports by the metropolis (64 per cent). From January to August 2016, Hong Kong’s exports of electronic goods amounted to around USD 186 billion, with imports at USD 194 billion, both remaining nearly stable compared to 2015. Semi-conductors and electronic components, followed by telecommunications equipment were the most requested products.
In Hall A1, Meet (China) Ltd is one of the four Hong Kong exhibitors on the combined stand. The company specializes in multifunctional testing equipment including measuring instruments for water quality and batteries, as well as gas leakage detectors. Wah Hing Transformer Mfy Ltd, one of the five exhibitors on the stand in Hall A2, produces adapters and transformers for a broad range of electronic devices. Wai Chi Opto Technology Ltd in Hall A3 (nine Hong Kong companies), is a pioneer on the LED market offering LED displays and LED backlighting for products like smartphones, LCD computers and industrial machinery. In Hall A6, focussing on semiconductor and automotive industry, D&K Technologies Limited showcases all types of electronic components.
Ten Hong Kong exhibitors showcase their products together in Hall B4, including Suga Electronics Ltd with its electronic manufacturing services (EMS), IoT solutions and products for audio, telecommunications, health care and HMI equipment. Best Rubber Product Limited is one of the ten exhibitors on the combined stand in Hall B5. Their portfolio includes keyboards made completely of non-toxic silicone rubber compounds available in all pantone colours. The keyboards are used in surgeries and industrial machinery as well as smartphones and gaming consoles.
