The Season 11 finale celebrated the crowning of 12-year-old singer/songwriter Grace VanderWaal as America’s favorite act. VanderWaal, who received judge Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer to advance to the live shows, began writing songs when she was 3 years old. She won America over with performances of her original songs throughout the competition. In addition to her $1 million dollar prize for winning, VanderWaal will headline inside the PH Showroom at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Oct. 27-30. She will also be joined by Season 11 acts The Clairvoyants and Tape Face. Tickets and further information on these upcoming performances can be found at www.AGTvegas.com.

Yesterday it was announced that Simon Cowell, the creator of the worldwide phenomenon Got Talent format and one of the most instrumental figures in television over the past two decades, has renewed his commitment to America’s Got Talent, signing on as a judge for the next three years, extending through 2019. Cowell, who served as a judge on the series for the first time this past season, will once again be joined by Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel when Season 12 launches in summer 2017. Nick Cannon will also return as host.

America’s Got Talent was created by Simon Cowell and is co-produced by FremantleMedia North America and Syco Entertainment. Simon Cowell, Sam Donnelly, Jason Raff, Trish Kinane and Richard Wallace are the executive producers.
