MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nutrition and dietitian expert, Ashvini Mashru, MA, RD, LDN, founder and owner of Wellness Nutrition Concepts, LLC in suburban Philadelphia has been named 2016 ‘Women on the Move’, a coveted award presented by Main Line and Western Suburbs premier, Main Line Today Magazine.
Mashru, who has 13 years of experience as a dietitian nutritionist, is one of 24 businesswomen to receive this annual honor which celebrates the achievements of women in various businesses and industries throughout the Main Line and Western Suburbs of Philadelphia. Since the inception of her practice in 2012, Mashru has helped transform the lives of thousands of women in the Philadelphia area, one person at a time, through a number of nutrition, dietary and wellness consulting services she provides. Mashru came to the United States from India as a 22-year-old newlywed, with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She worked two jobs to put herself through undergraduate and graduate school, achieving credentialing as a Registered Dietitian and earning her Master’s Degree in Nutrition Education. Mashru’s passion and commitment to inspiring women to live more healthful lives extends to the community as well, where she volunteers her time with several nonprofit organizations.
