New England Technology Services Firm, The Walker Group, Announces that the FBI and InfraGard Will Keynote its TechImpact Summit Next Month in Farmington, CT

FARMINGTON, Conn.--()--The Walker Group, one of New England’s leading technology services firms, today announced that information security experts from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and InfraGard will keynote its TechImpact Summit on October 7th in Farmington. FBI Special Agent Judy Eide is currently assigned to the Bureau’s New Haven Division Computer Crime squad and is also a coordinator of the Connecticut Chapter of InfraGard, while Mark Ramsey is the CISO for ASSA ABLOY – Americas and President of the Connecticut Chapter of InfraGard. In addition to the keynote presentations, the event will focus on three top trends in technology: Cybersecurity, Cloud/Hybrid Cloud and Hyperconvergence. TechImpact will feature over 30 of today’s most innovative technology companies, including RSA, Splunk, Zerto, Nutanix, Dell, EMC, Microsoft, VMWare, and Aruba Networks. With an expected attendance of over 300 people, it promises to be one of the region’s most comprehensive gatherings of technology leadership this year, complete with dynamic panel discussions, hands-on exposure to the latest technology and giveaways.

The event will also be used to celebrate a $10,000 TechImpact Award, given in partnership with Hartford-based reSET, to a social entrepreneur in the technology space that has the potential to make a social or environmental impact.
