NEWPORT, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Embrace Home Loans, a prominent leader in the mortgage industry, today announced that branch manager Marcos Sanchez has been named one of the top 250 Latino mortgage originators in the U.S. by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP).
The second annual Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originator Report recognizes the leading Latino mortgage professionals in the U.S. as ranked by the number of mortgages they closed the previous calendar year. More than 700 mortgage professionals were considered. Sanchez is part of a group of top producers, representing a total of 32,783 closed mortgages, $8.1 billion in mortgage sales volume and 50 different companies.
Sanchez was also named one of the top 100 Latino mortgage originators from non-depository lenders, a new recognition added to the report this year. A total of 39 companies employed the top originators serving Latino communities across the country.
“Having the opportunity to witness first-hand Marcos’ passion and purpose every day, he is very deserving of this recognition,” said Kurt Noyce, president of Embrace Home Loans. “His ability to connect with his customers, and then deliver to them a professional, and at the same time, personal, experience is extraordinary. To do that, at the levels of business he produces, while also leading a highly-accomplished team of mortgage professionals, and be such a committed family-man, is a tribute to his unbending principles. We are privileged and proud to have Marcos as part of the Embrace family, and look forward to continuing to support – and watch – his success.”
Sanchez joined Embrace Home Loans in 2012 with more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. His goal is to provide exceptional personal service, going far beyond what other lenders offer. During his tenure at Embrace, he has been a perennial Presidents Club recipient, and in 2015, he personally originated 115 loans for more than $28 million in production.
Prior to joining Embrace, Sanchez was a branch manager for Corridor Mortgage Group. He also worked for Access National Mortgage as an area manager, RBC Mortgage as a partner in the Mid Atlantic Division, and Harbor Financial Mortgage Corporation as the secondary marketing manager. Sanchez has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Schiller International University in London, England.
