Kroll Bond Rating Agency Appoints Ira Powell as Chief of Staff

NEW YORK--()--Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) is pleased to announce that Ira Powell has been appointed Chief of Staff. In his new position, Ira will be taking on a broader management and operating role and will continue to report to Jim Nadler, President and Chief Operating Officer at KBRA.

Ira joined KBRA as Chief Credit Officer in early 2015, and has been an integral part of KBRA’s recent success and growth. After receiving his J.D. from Harvard Law School, Ira worked in various positions across Structured Finance before most recently spending 15 years in Goldman Sachs’ investment banking division.

“We look forward to leveraging Ira’s energy and expertise as KBRA continues to expand its footprint geographically and to grow its business lines,” said Mr. Nadler. “We will leverage Ira’s broad skill set to help define and execute KBRA’s strategic initiatives going forward.”
