NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leumi announced today that Shawn McGowen, Head of Commercial Banking, has joined the Board of Directors at New York City-based international nonprofit organization Project Sunshine.
With a network of more than 15,000 volunteers, Project Sunshine brings recreational, educational and social service programming – all free of charge – to more than 100,000 children living with medical challenges. The organization serves children and their families in over 300 medical centers across 175 U.S. cities and four international locations, including Israel.

McGowen has previously served on the boards of Opportunity Fund, Team Play Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the California Chamber of Commerce. At Leumi, he has led the expansion of the commercial banking business since his arrival in 2015.
