Tapingo Launches Mobile Commerce Service in Columbus

New App Partners with Local Restaurants for Delivery

COLUMBUS, Ohio--()--Craving sushi for lunch? Perhaps you’re in need of late-night eats, or maybe your busy schedule doesn’t allow you to spend hours prepping a meal in the kitchen.

Now there’s a solution for the residents of Columbus. Tapingo, the San Francisco-based mobile commerce app, today announced the expansion of the popular service to Columbus, Ohio.

Beginning August 25, customers can download the Tapingo app for free, where they can browse the menus of local restaurants, customize their order, pay, then have their items delivered. To celebrate the launch of Tapingo in Columbus, Tapingo is eliminating delivery fees for new customers and will be hosting special in-app promotions for local favorites.

Tapingo’s delivery service is available from hundreds of restaurants, including local favorites such as Chipotle, White Castle, Pita Pit, Catfish Biffs, and Buckeye Doughnuts.

Tapingo is an official partner of the Ohio State University, which will serve as a hub for its delivery program. Students on campus can even use their meal plans and dining dollars to order on the app.
