In his new role, Hecht will have senior leadership responsibilities, overseeing Fulfillment and all production channels – Wholesale, Retail, Correspondent, Consumer Direct and Strategic Alliances.

Hecht brings more than 20 years of mortgage banking sales, operations and strategic partnership expertise to his current position with Stearns. He joined the Company in 2012 and most recently served as Stearns’ Executive Vice President – Strategic Development. As a member of the Executive Management Team, his responsibilities included leading and growing strategic production channels such as Joint Venture, Consumer Direct, Builder, Credit Union Partners, and the Marketing and Recruitment teams at Stearns. Over the last two years, Hecht has added several new joint ventures and more than doubled the monthly production of Consumer Direct, the fastest growing channel at Stearns.
Earlier in his career, Hecht held senior management positions at MetLife Home Loans and Bank of America Home Loans, among others.
