Twitch also revealed that T-Pain, a hip hop legend and two-time Grammy winner, will be a special guest performer at TwitchCon: The Party. EDM superstar Darude and a yet-to-be-announced surprise A-List headliner will also be on the bill.
Coming to the show’s ever-expanding expo hall and related events are more than 50 game publishers, developers, vendors, software and hardware manufacturers, and other members of the industry. A major TwitchCon attraction is TwitchCon: The Party which is sponsored by HP OMEN and taking place at the Petco Park outdoor stadium. Doors open for this year’s event at 5:45pm on October 1st where there will be gaming stations, photo booths, fireworks, and other fun activities. The festivities kick off with the HP “Heroes of the Storm” OMEN Challenge at 6:00pm. In the challenge, four teams of five gamers will compete in Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm while trapped in gaming torture chambers for a chance to win the first HP OMEN Challenge Championship and a cash prize. Various elements such as wind blasts, cold environments, and more will be incorporated into each chamber pod to further challenge gamers during the championship. Torture elements will be revealed to both the live and online Twitch audience via spectacular animations emanating from a giant LED tower.
The latest TwitchCon: The Party performer to be announced is T-Pain. Over the past couple of months, he has launched a successful channel on Twitch where his engaging personality and love of video games have made him a hit on the platform.

TwitchCon 2016 will take place September 30-October 2 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA.
