HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Continental Building Products, Inc. (NYSE:CBPX) (the Company), a leading manufacturer of wallboard and gypsum-based products, announced today that it was seeking to refinance its existing First Lien Credit Agreement and its revolving credit facility, subject to market and other conditions. The objectives of the refinancing are to reduce the Company’s interest expense, increase its financial flexibility and extend its maturity. If arranged, this transaction will refinance the $272 million first lien outstanding and the revolver which currently has no amounts drawn on it.
