FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of professional services and technology-based solutions to government and commercial clients, was recently awarded two new on-call contracts by the State of California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). The contracts have a combined maximum value of $13.6 million.
The first contract supports Caltrans District 8 and has a maximum value of $6.8 million and a term of three years. ICF will provide a wide range of on-call environmental services to support Caltrans District 8 in Southern California in the maintenance, development and construction of its proposed transportation facilities. These services are similar to those provided under the agreements recently awarded to support Caltrans District 1 and District 2 and 3 in the northern part of the state.
The second contract supports the District 1 Willits Bypass project. It has a maximum value of $6.8 million and term of three years and three months. ICF will provide on-call biological support services including conducting field reviews and biological monitoring of compensatory aquatic resources mitigation to determine performance relative to the federal and state mitigation and monitoring plans on over 2,000 acres of mitigation lands. Services will also include agency coordination and preparation of monitoring reports.
“We are thrilled to continue our longstanding support of Caltrans District 8 and to expand our on-call support to include biological monitoring for habitat restoration activities to the Willits Bypass project,” said David Freytag, senior vice president for ICF International. “We look forward to providing the same level of excellence that Caltrans has come to expect from ICF to help ensure the transportation agency remains compliant with the numerous, complex environmental requirements presented by its projects.”
