On February 1, 2016, First NBC announced disappointing fourth quarter and fiscal year 2015 earnings based largely on an $8.2 million tax credit impairment. Then on April 8, 2016, First NBC announced it would be forced to restate its consolidated financial statements for fiscal 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2011, including all interim periods within fiscal years 2015, 2014, and 2013, and that its financial statements for fiscal years 2011 through 2015 could no longer be relied upon.
