Mach7 Collaborates with RSNA
RSNA is setting the standard for image sharing consistency and encouraging imaging vendors and radiology sites to adopt these standards. This universal set of protocols and capabilities will enable informed care decisions, enhanced communication and improved patient safety.
“At the heart of all Mach7 solutions is our commitment to standards – the cornerstone of interoperability,” stated Eric Rice, CTO, Mach7 Technologies. “Interoperability is fundamental to healthcare technology innovation, driving the creation and development of solutions that unlock the silos of patient data that exist throughout the enterprise. We look forward to collaborating with RSNA to demonstrate and validate our interoperable, patient-centric image sharing solution.”
"Interoperability has been recognized as one of the biggest gaps in health information technology," commented David Mendelson, M.D., FACR, vice chair of radiology IT at the Mount Sinai Health System and principal investigator on the RSNA Image Share project. "We are pleased that Mach7 is part of our pilot program to rapidly advance standards-based solutions for imaging interoperability. We welcome the participation of Mach7 in this effort to promote the well-being and care of all patients.”
