SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wasatch Advisors announces that effective today, Roger Edgley will become the Lead Portfolio Manager for the Wasatch Frontier Emerging Small Countries Fund, with Jared Whatcott continuing on the Fund as a Portfolio Manager. Joining Mr. Edgley and Mr. Whatcott as a Portfolio Manager on the Fund will be Scott Thomas, who is also a seasoned Wasatch investor.
Separately, Mr. Whatcott will continue on the Wasatch International Opportunities Fund as a Portfolio Manager. Ten-year Wasatch veteran Linda Lasater will join him on the Fund, also as a Portfolio Manager.
Laura Geritz, the Lead Portfolio Manager for both the Frontier Emerging Small Countries Fund and the International Opportunities Fund, has announced she will leave the firm on July 1, 2016.

Roger Edgley, CFA, will continue to lead Wasatch’s deep bench of international analysts and portfolio managers as the Director of International Research. He is also the Lead Portfolio Manager for the International Growth Fund and the Emerging Markets Small Cap Fund. Mr. Edgley joined Wasatch Advisors in 2002, and has many years of international investing experience. Prior to Wasatch, he was the director of international research and a portfolio manager for the Acorn Funds.
Jared Whatcott, CFA, joined Wasatch Advisors as a member of the international research team in 2005. He has been an Associate Portfolio Manager for the Frontier Emerging Small Countries Fund and the International Opportunities Fund. Scott Thomas, CFA, joined Wasatch in 2012 and is an Associate Portfolio Manager for the Emerging Markets Small Cap Fund and the Emerging Markets Select Fund. Linda Lasater, CFA, joined Wasatch in 2006 and is an Associate Portfolio Manager for the International Growth Fund.
