The summit attracted 284 registrants from 23 countries representing a variety of oil and gas industry businesses. Many speakers addressed challenges and changes in the industry and offered ideas for adaptation to the shifting landscape. Throughout the summit, attendees heard key advice on negotiation techniques and strategies as well as the state of the mergers and acquisitions market as it relates to funding and the overall health of businesses in the oil and gas sectors. Many cited the keynote addresses were filled with practical and trending information they could use and share with colleagues. Overall, feedback from attendees indicated all aspects of the summit exceeded their expectations.

Media outlets also found the Summit content robust and germane to the industry’s current state. Reporters from Reuters, Rigzone, and MergerMarket published stories online during the event. Texas Bar Journal is preparing an article with keynote speaker and former United States Secretary of State James A.
