DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LivWell Enlightened Health, Colorado’s leading cannabis retailer, announced that veterans with a valid ID will be able to purchase recreational ounces of high cannabidiol (CBD) flower for just a penny. The promotion salutes those who have served in the military and will run through June 5.
“This is just our small way of showing our appreciation to all of our men and women in uniform,” said John Lord, CEO of LivWell. “If it was legal to do so, we would give this cannabis to them for free. Our veterans deserve access to the highest quality medicine available, and high CBD cannabis is one option that has demonstrated significant benefits to veterans suffering a variety of ailments.”
LivWell regularly dedicates resources to help Colorado’s veterans, including a recent donation from 4/20 sales to the Fitch Foundation, a resource for disabled veterans in Denver.
“Cannabis has not only helped me manage the pain from my physical disabilities, but even more so the pain from my mental ones,” said U.S. Army veteran Dustin Speakman. “Cannabis has helped me keep my PTSD in check for many years now, and in doing so it has helped me become a better husband, father and productive member of my community. I went from needing help coping with my disability to helping others cope with theirs.”
All of LivWell’s recreational Colorado locations will participate in the promotion. For more information, please visit: www.LivWell.com.
