PLANO, Texas--()--Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced recipients of its 2016 Tyler Public Sector Excellence awards for Eagle, Infinite Visions®, EnerGov and Tyler Public Safety local government software solutions at its national user conference, Connect, in Phoenix.

Tyler’s Excellence Awards recognize organizations that demonstrate excellence in deploying Tyler software in novel and impactful ways that extend best practices. Award submissions were evaluated by a panel of Tyler leadership, and entries were judged on business value, maturity, innovation and relevance to other public sector organizations. Additional criteria met by award winners include:

  • Creating a unique process utilizing a Tyler application
  • Realizing significant savings after implementing a Tyler product
  • Increasing staff productivity by implementing a Tyler product
  • Empowering employees, citizens or vendors

Tyler’s Eagle 2016 Excellence Award winner is Riverside County Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder (ACR), California. Riverside County is the 10th largest county in the nation, and the third largest in California. Riverside County ACR implemented Tyler’s Eagle software to provide integrated functionality to services such as recording documents, issuing vital records and providing a searchable index to the public. Through Eagle, the Riverside County ACR was able to minimize paper reliance, increase accuracy and eliminate 146 hours per year that were previously spent on manual processes.

Tyler’s Infinite Visions 2016 Excellence Award winner is Jenks Public Schools, Oklahoma. With more than a 75 percent population boom between 2000 and 2010, and a rising student population, Jenks turned to Infinite Visions and Tyler Content Manager™ to streamline hiring processes while significantly reducing paper usage and operational costs.

Tyler’s EnerGov 2016 Excellence Award winner is the City of Lake Forest, California. With a comprehensive planning process on the horizon, Lake Forest prepared for the rezoning of nearly 840 acres of land and an estimated population increase of 15 percent by implementing Tyler’s EnerGov planning, regulatory and maintenance solution. EnerGov helped the city integrate data management and workflow for cross-departmental awareness and collaboration, streamline intake processes, enable full mobility of inspectors and field officers, and increase online inspection requests by more than 40 percent.

The Tyler Public Safety 2016 Excellence Award Winner is the City of Greenwood Village, Colorado. The Greenwood Village Police Department turned to Tyler Public Safety (TPS) software to replace paper-based processes and manage essential day-to-day functions. Greenwood Village used TPS to manage records and computer-aided dispatch (CAD) to streamline the police department’s critical data, while using Brazos electronic citations to eliminate manual ticketing processes to save time and money.

Tyler Excellence Award winners were honored on May 1 at the Connect 2016 user conference in Phoenix, where they were presented with the award and given the opportunity to share their best practices and lessons learned with their public sector peers.
