NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Xaxis, the programmatic audience company, announced today it has named longtime media executive David Kaye as vice president, client engagement. Kaye will lead new business efforts for Xaxis across East Coast U.S. markets with a focus on developing direct client relationships with major advertisers. He will also oversee direct sales activities for Xaxis’ native ad unit plista as well as support client development for Light Reaction, the company’s performance business.
Kaye has deep background in developing powerful monetization platforms for some of the world’s most distinguished media brands. “David’s expertise in cutting edge media products and strong track record helping global brands maximize the effectiveness of their ad tech and traditional media strategies makes him a perfect fit for Xaxis,” said Matt Sweeney, CEO, North America at Xaxis. “He will play a vital role in leading new business efforts as we continue to build momentum for our direct client business in the U.S. and beyond.”
Prior to The Economist, Kaye was West Coast associate publisher at PC Magazine, the flagship publication of Ziff-Davis Media. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University at Albany.
“Data and technology represent the leading edge of today’s media economy with Xaxis recognized as one of the industry’s most accomplished players,” said Kaye. “I look forward to working with advertisers to help them harness the unparalleled capability of the Xaxis platform in support of their strategic marketing activities.”
