MEDIACOM PARK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mediacom Communications announced today it will be adding a wide-variety of foreign language programming to channel lineups across its national footprint. The new entertainment options will feature Filipino, French, German, Italian, Korean, Russian, South-Asian and Vietnamese programming.
The new international programming will become available in the coming weeks. Each of the channels can be purchased à la carte by any Mediacom customer subscribing to the Local Plus TV or higher tier of video service. These additional foreign language options will complement Mediacom’s currently available Canales Latinos package which launched in 2013.
“The United States is one of the most culturally diverse nations in the world, and we want to offer a channel lineup that reflects and embraces that diversity,” said Italia Commisso Weinand, Mediacom’s EVP of Programming and Human Resources. “These new foreign language programming options offered on an à la carte basis give Mediacom customers a simple, affordable and customizable way to view their favorite international movies, news, sports, soap operas and family entertainment.”
