VAN NUYS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Valley Presbyterian Hospital (VPH) is pleased to announce its 3rd Annual Celebration of Excellence dinner will be held Thursday, May 12, at the Skirball Cultural Center, 2701 North Sepulveda Blvd., in Los Angeles from 6-9 PM.
Net proceeds from the event will support the hospital’s $8.4 million Emergency Department renovation and expansion project. VPH’s Emergency Department is one of the busiest in the San Fernando Valley with more than 66,000 patient visits each year. To continue to meet the region’s growing demand for critical and urgent medical care, VPH began construction to renovate and expand its Emergency Department in fall 2015.
More than 500 business and community leaders, donors, physicians and hospital leadership are expected in attendance for the cocktail reception and dinner. Featured entertainment is by the San Fernando Valley Japanese Community Center’s Taiko Drummers, Kirk Portuguez and his Jazz Trio, and the CSUN Jazz Band.
The dinner honors VPH physician Ralph R. Salimpour, MD, DCH, FAAP, and Wells Fargo Bank.
