ATHERTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Manny Fernandez, Silicon Valley Angel Investor, co-founder/ CEO of DreamFunded.com, will be teaching a highly interactive workshop, The Future of Investing: How Equity CrowdFunding is Shaping The American Dream, at Menlo College on the evening of April 27th, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

On April 5, 2012, President Obama’s signing of the JOBS act changed the future of startup investing as it enables these companies to raise up to $1 million using equity crowdfunding. Long-awaited by Silicon Valley, the JOBS act will finally take effect in mid-May of 2016.

- How to analyze trends in Silicon Valley tech companies (time to IPO, later funding rounds) as well as understanding how the market in Silicon Valley is changing due to market shifts (employee liquidity).
- How investors can potentially make money using equity crowdfunding.
The workshop, hosted by the Menlo College Finance Club, will be presented on Wednesday, April 27 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at Menlo College’s Brawner Hall, in room 407.
