(VTNR) (“Vertex Energy” or the “Company”), an environmental services company that recycles industrial waste streams and off-specification commercial chemical products, announced today that it has scheduled its Annual Meeting of Stockholders to be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at a time and location to be determined and specified in the Company’s proxy statement related to the Annual Meeting. The record date for determination of stockholders entitled to vote at the meeting, and any adjournment thereof, will be set as the close of business on Thursday, April 21, 2016.
