SYRACUSE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--POMCO, one of the nation’s largest benefits administrators, has been selected by Dignity Health as the administrator and reinsurance manager for its Employer Relations program. The program is designed to improve member care and lower employer plan costs through an integrated clinical management program. The Dignity Health program, as administered by POMCO, will provide an innovative, integrated, and fully customizable benefit plan product solution for self-funded employers in the markets in which Dignity Health provides services. The Dignity Health program will launch May 1, 2016 in Ventura County. Product expansion is planned across select California geographies over the next 18 months.
Dignity Health’s Employer Relations Program is designed to leverage its care delivery expertise and capabilities with POMCO’s suite of tools and solutions for plan administration. In order to provide employers risk sharing protections, Dignity Health and POMCO have also collaborated to offer a customized reinsurance product to employers who elect the new product offering.
