Grant Thornton’s Philadelphia office admits two new partners, adds managing director

Beaumont and Pramberger admitted as Audit partners; Reyher joins as Private Wealth Services managing director

PHILADELPHIA--()--Grant Thornton LLP admitted Melissa Beaumont and Michael Pramberger as Audit partners in the firm’s Philadelphia office, effective Jan. 1. In addition to these promotions, Ann Marie Reyher has joined the firm as a managing director in the firm’s Private Wealth Services practice, based in Philadelphia.

Beaumont joined Grant Thornton in 2009 and has more than 10 years of auditing experience in various industries, including a prior rotation within Grant Thornton’s National Professional Standards Group. She specializes in the financial services, banking and real estate industries, and is responsible for providing technical guidance and risk management oversight of financial statement audits with a focus on publicly traded companies. She also serves as the Philadelphia office leader for the firm’s Women at Grant Thornton initiative, which is designed to enhance the recruitment, retention and advancement of women into leadership positions. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, she served as a financial analyst at Financial Research Associates LLC and as a senior staff accountant at Ernst and Young LLP.

Beaumont is a certified public accountant (CPA) in Pennsylvania and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is also a member of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s Youth Professional Network and a member of the board of directors of Girls, Inc. of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. Beaumont received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Joseph’s University.

Pramberger joined Grant Thornton in 2009 and has been with the firm his entire career. He has more than 10 years of audit experience in the financial services and real estate industries. He serves both public and privately-held Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), focusing on equity, mortgage, hybrid REITs and specialized asset management companies. He specializes in initial registration, capital raising (including the issuance of complex debt and equity instruments), financial reporting, Sarbanes–Oxley implementation and testing, and liquidity events.

Pramberger is a CPA in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the AICPA. He is also a leader and Audit representative of the reinvigorated alumni group. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University.

Reyher has more than 20 years of experience providing wealth and asset management advisory services, including strategies for multi-generational wealth transfer, gift tax, charitable giving strategies, executive compensation, asset protection and wealth preservation. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, she served as a Private Client Services senior manager at Ernst and Young. There, she led the Private Client Services practice in the Philadelphia region.

Reyher is a CPA in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey and is a member of the PICPA and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council. She is also a member of the AICPA and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and a board member of the Moorestown Board of Education. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rutgers University.
