DUBLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/f6zd63/gsec_cyber) has announced the addition of the "GSEC Cyber Security Conference Singapore 2016 (Singapore - 22nd-26th August, 2016)" conference to their offering.
GSEC is a 2 day single track conference where the audience gets to vote on the final list of talks and gets a chance to meet with the speakers they vote for but also with other members of the audience that voted similarly.
The Call for Papers closes at the end of May after which voting for talks begins. You have 3 votes to cast against any talks you would like to see live on stage in August.
GSEC is not yet-another-security-conference but an event that you help shape, an opportunity to meet and mingle with your peers and new contacts in a relaxed environment plus see some of the latest and next generation attack and defense techniques.
Our focus for this year's event is highlighting women in security and we have an all-women keynote line up comprising Katie Moussouris from HackerOne, Erin Jacobs aka @SecBarbie and Fabienne Serriere, creator of KnitYak. We're hoping to also fill at least the remaining 50% of the agenda with women researchers, but of course, YOU DECIDE.
How Does It Work?
- Register: Register and indicate if you would like a pre-event introduction to other attendees based on the talks you vote for.
- Vote: When you've completed registration, you'll receive credentials for the online voting systems. You get 3 votes to cast against any shortlisted talks.
- Network: When voting closes and the agenda is finalised, you'll get an introduction email to the speakers you voted for and your fellow attendees (if you opted in).
- The conference will cover areas like SAP Security, Cloud Security, File System Security, 3G/4G/WIMAX Security.
