Erickson, a Sioux Falls businessman who has worked in the financial-services industry for more than 30 years, is currently vice chairman of South Dakota-based American Bank and Trust and the manager of multiple limited liability companies. Previously, he served as president and chief executive officer of Great Western Bank.

Erickson is filling an open seat on the board. He received his bachelor’s degree from Northern State University of Aberdeen, S.D., where he received “Distinguished Alumni” honors. He currently serves as the chairman of the South Dakota Banking Commission, chairman of the South Dakota Board of Economic Development, and vice chairman of the South Dakota Community Foundation.
