PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Veteran health care leader Lisa Getzfrid has joined Health Partners Plans as senior vice president of operations and chief operating officer, reporting to William S. George, president and CEO. In her role, Getzfrid implements best practices to increase operational efficiency and oversees operational performance metrics and reporting. Getzfrid is also responsible for enhancing Health Partners Plans’ high member satisfaction ratings and operational excellence by supporting company-wide efforts for population health management and the unified customer experience initiatives across all lines of business, including Medicare (Health Partners Medicare), Medicaid (Health Partners) and CHIP (KidzPartners).
During her more than 30 years of experience in managed care, Getzfrid has helped several leading health care companies achieve strong financial performance while improving clinical outcomes. She’s also combined advanced health care analytics with highly targeted interventions, improving operational performance and enhancing member satisfaction.
Prior to joining Health Partners Plans, Getzfrid served as enterprise vice president of health plan operations at Conifer Health Solutions. She also served as senior vice president of operations at both Inovalon, Inc. and AmeriHealth Caritas, where she focused on data analytics and clinical outcomes. Over the course of her career, she’s held several executive level positions at Bon Secours Health System, Innova, Inc., United Healthcare Corporation and Wellpoint, Inc., now Anthem, Inc.

Getzfrid received her Bachelor of Science in Dentistry, her Master of Public Health and her Master Certificate in Higher Education from University of Michigan. She also earned her Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from the Juran Institute.
