CHERRY HILL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Professional women’s golfer and local resident Emily Gimpel is successfully swinging her way through the 2016 LPGA Symetra Tour, with AmeriQuest Business Services as her primary sponsor for the second year in a row. The Symetra Tour is the final stage before qualifying for full status on the LPGA Tour. Ms. Gimpel, the 2013 Philadelphia Women’s amateur champion, qualified for full status on the Symetra Tour in December 2015 via the Final Stage of LPGA’s Qualifying School.
“I am excited to be working with AmeriQuest in 2016 as they assist me on the Symetra Tour and in my journey to the LPGA,” said Ms. Gimpel, a native of Lafayette Hill, Pa. “With the help I receive from sponsors like AmeriQuest, I will be able to compete in about 22 exciting tournaments for the year.”
“Supporting Emily on her journey to the LPGA is gratifying for the entire AmeriQuest family,” said Kate Freer, Vice President of Marketing for AmeriQuest Business Services. “We share Emily’s drive to rise to the top in 2016 and are eager to watch and cheer her on along the way.”
The Symetra Tour, known as "the Road to the LPGA," has been designated as the LPGA’s official qualifying tour since 1999. The LPGA acquired the Symetra Tour in July 2007. The Symetra Tour is the most established women’s developmental tour in the world, marking 35 years of structured competition in 2015.
