VALHALLA, N.Y. & WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Photographers Jonathan Irish and Stefanie Payne have arrived at Shenandoah National Park, the 10th stop in their epic year-long quest to capture the raw beauty and breathtaking scenery of all 59 U.S. National parks in 52 weeks. “The Greatest American Road Trip” was conceived to celebrate the Centennial of the U.S. National Park Service, and Fujifilm is proud to support this celebration.
Jonathan Irish, who has photographed for many notable publications and media outlets including National Geographic, The New York Times, CNN, and BBC, and Stefanie Payne, a former creative product development lead for NASA, began their journey on January 1, 2016 in the warmer climates of the Everglades, Dry Tortugas and Biscayne Parks. They are now visiting Shenandoah National Park, known for its cascading waterfalls, spectacular vistas, and quiet wooded hollows.
Jonathan and Stefanie are shooting with FUJIFILM X-Series digital cameras and equipment, including the award-winning weather resistant FUJIFILM X-T1 mirrorless camera and FUJINON XF lenses, and the FUJIFILM INSTAX® Instant Film cameras to uniquely capture America’s greatest treasures and chronicle their experience.
After each park visit is concluded, photos and content from that park is being posted to their website and social media sites: www.TheGreatestRoadTrip.com, www.facebook.com/59in52, @Jonathan_Irish, @MagnumJI, @iStefPayne
