ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Scottrade® Advisor Services is offering access to a series of educational webinars designed to help registered investment advisors with tools and skills they can use to grow their businesses, provided by practice management firm ActiFi.
The second of four 60-minute free webinars hosted by ActiFi, “Define Your Ideal Client,” is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. EST Tuesday, Feb. 23.
“Advisors in the RIA space remain eager to grow,” said Brian Stimpfl, senior vice president and head of Scottrade® Advisor Services. “Advisors should look at every element of their service model, from developing their pipeline to onboarding new clients.”
“The financial services industry has evolved quite extensively in the past few decades, especially in the niche occupied by independent advisors and the pace of change will only accelerate as time progresses,” said Stimpfl.
The 2015 Scottrade® Advisor Services Study revealed if advisors had an extra dollar to invest in their business, the largest number would put that dollar toward growth opportunities. Growth was the number one selection, with 38 percent of respondents selecting that factor. Advisors’ second largest selection was technology, at 25 percent, and employee/talent management was the third largest, at 13 percent.
“Growth is more than bringing assets into the business, it’s the willingness to continually improve,” Stimpfl said. “The goal is not to grow for growth’s sake, but to look for ideal ways to create efficiency and expand your business through investment in people, process and technology.”

In 2015, Scottrade® Advisor Services also offered access to a series of in-person practice management education seminars held throughout the country provided by ActiFi. The workshops, which focused on helping RIAs create a scalable, repeatable process, appeared to strike a chord with attendees.
