Samsung Dominates at Centre Court with Premium Fan Experience

NEW YORK--()--Samsung Electronics America, Inc., official handset, tablet and television partner of the NBA returns to NBA All-Star for its third year with The Samsung Experience at NBA Centre Court. The Samsung Experience will be the go-to fan area featuring an LED Court, player appearances, immersive experiences, fan rewards and more - all enabled by Samsung’s latest technology and services.

Showcase Court Skills at The Samsung Experience

Samsung will provide fans a wide range of interactive experiences throughout NBA All-Star 2016 while utilizing Samsung devices and experiencing the latest technology.

The LED half-court will animate with various interactive activations and programming throughout the weekend. Fans will have the opportunity to test their basketball skills and use the all-new Samsung Gear S2 to help their game and on-court performances by providing feedback on how to improve their speed. At the Gear VR Experience, fans will get to view LeBron James’ documentary “Striving for Greatness” in 360-degrees immersive video using the new Samsung Gear VR with the Note5 and Galaxy S6 edge+.

Living the Galaxy Life at NBA All-Star 2016

The Samsung Experience will also be the spot for Galaxy owners to get up close to their favorite NBA stars including James Harden, Karl-Anthony Towns, Paul George, and Andrew Wiggins.

Elevated above the LED Court, Samsung owners will receive the All Star treatment with the Owner’s Box – a premium destination featuring the latest Samsung technologies, amenities and more.

To keep the Galaxy Life rolling throughout the weekend, Samsung will be giving Galaxy Owners a chance to attend an exclusive preview party at The Samsung Experience on Saturday, February 13th. The exclusive night will be hosted by actors Terrence J and Angela Simmons and feature a special performance by hip hop artist, A$AP Ferg. Samsung owners can visit The Samsung Experience at Centre Court on Friday and Saturday for tickets.

Samsung Social Correspondent

Karl-Anthony Towns will be taking fans behind the scenes at NBA All-Star with a Samsung Snapchat takeover. He will be Samsung’s on-the-ground social correspondent to give fans an unprecedented look at his first NBA All-Star experience. Towns will utilize his Gear S2 throughout the weekend to highlight how it’s an All-Star accessory that is both smart and stylish – helping him document and navigate his first All-Star experience.
