BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--(HIMSS Booth #1626) – Orion Health, a population health management and healthcare integration company, today announced it will showcase client success stories at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society 2016 Annual Conference & Exhibition (HIMSS16) via mainstage presentations and in-booth demonstrations. Additionally at HIMSS, Orion Health will reveal Amadeus, a platform that enables highly-personalized healthcare and the implementation of precision medicine, and will demonstrate its new Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) Management application.
Dave Bennett, EVP Product and Strategy at Orion Health, will co-present a session titled, “Cal INDEX – A New Model for Collaboration,” alongside Dave Watson, CEO of Cal INDEX, the largest California-based health information exchange (HIE). During the HIMSS session, Watson will discuss the next steps in Cal INDEX’s journey to create a sustainable HIE and become one of the first entities to combine clinical and claims data for use at the point of care. The session will take place on Tuesday, March 1st at 1:00 p.m. PST, in the Sands Expo Convention Center, Lando 4205.
Additionally, executives from Scottsdale Health Partners (SHP), an Orion Health client, will also present a session titled, “A Vision for Connected Care.” SHP is a physician-led Clinical Integration Network (CIN) and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) based in Scottsdale, AZ. During the presentation, Faron Thompson, COO of SHP, and Tiffany Nelson, CSO of SHP, will describe the process of selecting, implementing and adopting Orion Health’s health data exchange, integration and population health solutions to achieve the Triple Aim. The session will take place on Thursday, March 3rd at 8:30 a.m. PST in the Sands Expo Convention Center Palazzo I.
Orion Health will also be showcasing its new MSSP Management application at HIMSS. This solution, developed alongside SHP, helps ACOs gain the maximum savings available from the CMS MSSP program. The Orion Health application seamlessly integrates data into the reporting and monitoring workflows of all user types while preserving central oversight of quality measure thresholds and scoring. SHP went live with this solution in January 2016.
