SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blue Wolf Capital Partners LLC announced today that its portfolio company, Channel Technologies Group LLC (“CTG”), a manufacturer of piezoelectric ceramics, transducers and complex sonar and navigation systems used in the defense, medical and energy industries, has named Christopher E. Holmes as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Holmes succeeds Ralph L. Phillips, who has served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company since June 2013.

Mr. Holmes has more than 30-years of experience in the aerospace and defense industries. Prior to joining Channel, Mr. Holmes was CEO at RM Techtronics, which focuses on electronic systems supplied primarily for aerospace and defense communications applications. Before that, he was a Managing Partner at H Equity Partners, following a period working as an independent advisor to private equity and investment banking firms, offering industry insight and operational assessments primarily in the high technology, aerospace and industrial sectors. Earlier in his career, he was CEO at Atlantic Inertial Systems, and held senior positions at Goodrich, L-3 Communications–Henschel, B/E Aerospace Corporation, and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. Mr. Holmes holds an MS in System Design and Management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA in Operations Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology.
