New “Profitable Omni‐Channel For Dummies” Book Authored by JDA Retail Experts Debuts at NRF

NEW YORK & SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--()--JDA Software Group, Inc., today announced a new book, “Profitable Omni-Channel For Dummies®, JDA Software Special Edition,” that discusses how to transform retailers’ businesses to compete in today’s hyper-connected, ever-complex omni-channel world. The book is a primer on delivering profitable customer commerce, and how the four pillars of omni-channel success – the store, digital commerce, fulfillment and planning – are the foundation for today’s omni-channel enterprise.

“Retailers and manufacturers have been bombarded with messaging about the new consumer ‘boss’ and how she wants what she wants when and where she wants it. That’s omni-channel, and retailers know they must give the customer what she wants if they are to stay in business,” said Wayne Usie, senior vice president, Global Industries and Value Delivery, JDA. “The problem is that most retailers are struggling to make the transition to omni-channel operations and very few are doing it profitably.
