PEMBROKE, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Validus Holdings, Ltd. (NYSE:VR) (“Validus”) today announced the appointment of Rob Halsey as Vice President, Atlanta Property Manager. In this new position, Rob will be responsible for building and maintaining the Validus Underwriters Excess & Surplus property business in the Southeast United States and write on behalf of Western World.

Rob brings to Validus more than fifteen years of experience in Property wholesale brokerage and Excess & Surplus underwriting in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Validus, Rob served as a senior underwriter of the Excess & Surplus Commercial Property Business at Admiral Insurance.
