Foobot, The World’s First Intelligent Device for Indoor Air Quality Will Be Showcased At CES

Digital Health Smart Monitor Facilitates Indoor Air quality

LAS VEGAS--()--Foobot will exhibit at the 2016 International CES, the largest consumer electronics show in the world, to be held at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, from January 6 to 9, 2016. At CES, Foobot will showcase its innovative indoor air quality device, which addresses both environmental and personal health priorities. The Foobot exhibit at CES will have specific features for both businesses and consumers who are interested in taking control of their indoor air quality.

We spend up to 90% of our daily life indoors. Our indoor living spaces are 3 to 8 times more polluted than outdoors, causing allergies, spreading sickness, decreasing productivity and impairing our health over time. But, it is hard to care about what you can’t see or control. Foobot seeks to change this.

Foobot is the first intelligent device designed to monitor and improve indoor air quality. By educating users on the occurrences and causes of indoor air pollution via a mobile application, Foobot provides users with actionable advice and suggested corrective actions. Foobot’s core features include:

  • Monitoring: Using high-tech sensors and algorithms to track particle matter, gas pollutants, temperature and humidity, Foobot tracks indoor air pollution.
  • Warning: Foobot provides real-time alerts and notifications indicating changes in indoor air quality.
  • Guidance: After a few days of use, Foobot recognizes specific pollution patterns and provides informed, actionable advice that encourages users to modify their behavior to reduce indoor pollutants.

“Like other digital tools that empower businesses and consumers use to manage their health, or even thermostats, Foobot enables us to shift our actions and mindset to be proactive and take control of our indoor air quality,” said Jacques Touillon, the brainchild of Foobot.”

Foobot first launched in Europe in the spring of 2015 and was introduced in the U.S. and China in the fall. The device, priced at $199, is currently available in the U.S. at Amazon and other major health and wellness retailers.

Foobot will be in Booth 73334 in the Digital Health Sector Sands Convention Center from January 6-9.
