PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Community Bank has continued its tradition of giving back to the community this holiday season. The Bank will help feed people in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange counties through donations to Southern California organizations that provide meals and assistance to those in need.
Employees of the Bank also get into the holiday spirit by volunteering. From decorating the Mission for the holidays, to prepping and serving meals to stocking food and revamping a children’s reading room – the Bank’s employees helped with a variety of projects throughout the holiday season.
“Each year we partner with organizations to help those less fortunate in the communities we serve. This year we partnered with seven organizations that are a source of hope and a model of service for all of us. I am proud to be able to give back to our community and proud of the employees who took time from their busy schedules to help others and display the true meaning of the holidays,” said David R. Misch, Chief Executive Officer.
The seven organizations included in this year’s holiday program were Family Service Association of Redlands, Foothill Family Shelter in Upland, Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Mission, Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission in Van Nuys and Someone Cares Soup Kitchen in Costa Mesa.
