FARGO, N.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Healthcare Trends Institute, an educational platform for employers, consumers and other healthcare benefits stakeholders, has announced that the third annual Healthcare Benefits Trends Survey is now open. The goal of this study is to provide employer benchmarks and insights into the adoption of new healthcare benefits options, including the use of defined contribution and insurance exchanges, along with wellness and healthy lifestyle programs and incentives.
The survey also includes questions about how employers are preparing for future reform legislation, such as the 2016 health insurance mandate for small employers and the 2018 Cadillac tax.
“As the healthcare benefits marketplace continues to evolve – including new legislation that forces employers to adjust their benefits programs – we are interested in seeing how employers’ businesses are being affected and how healthcare benefits offerings continue to be modified,” said Tiffany Wirth, executive director, Healthcare Trends Institute.
Survey participants will receive a copy of the survey results report, and survey responses are strictly anonymous. The results will also be announced on a February webcast. Companies interested in participating can take the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HealthcareBenefitsTrends2015.
