GREENVILLE, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advoco, a leading Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software and maintenance consulting company, today announced it has developed Advoco Validation Ready (AVR), a validation kit for regulated industries that can be deployed on Infor EAM software systems. The kit is a combination of a pre-configured EAM system along with a full set of documentation. With minimal modifications, this kit can be used to provide clients a ready-to-use EAM solution and support compliance with US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, including 21 CFR Part 11.
“Advoco works with numerous pharma and healthcare-related organizations that require compliance with the FDA, and our Infor EAM validation kit and service offering helps them with this endeavor,” said Steve Brindle, partner of Advoco. “For clients that need validation-ready documents to support their internal validation and Part 11 compliance, our kit is instrumental and saves them a massive amount of time in pre-configuration.” He continued, “Advoco can simply provide the fully-documented kit or we can play a more encompassing role, taking the lead and overseeing the validation activities.”
The AVR kit is adaptable and allows regulated companies to document all changes and edits made to the Equipment and Work (Preventive and Corrective) data, as well as track the business process for audit compliance.
Jim Kroyer, retired facilities director and EAM business owner at BioMarin Pharmaceutical, commented, “Advoco understands that validation is not a one-size-fits-all approach and has to mesh with each client’s requirements and expectations. By utilizing AVR, organizations will have a highly-attractive starting point,” Kroyer continued, “From my prior experience, I would expect AVR to reduce implementation time by up to six months, along with the associated costs and efforts. The future scalability of the configuration is also a critical feature as it allows organizations to expand as their needs grow and mature. ”
