NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Five Star Senior Living today announced the completion of two of its latest community refurbishment projects at Morningside of Georgetown and Morningside of Rock Hill. Both senior living communities are located in South Carolina and provide assisted living as well as respite care to seniors.
“Our vision was to update each environment while creating a more comfortable setting that still feels like home,” said Scott Herzig, Chief Operating Officer of Five Star Senior Living. “We are very excited with the outcomes of the refurbishments at both communities and based on feedback, so are our residents.”
Five Star continues to demonstrate their commitment to continual modernization with the refurbishment, which updated all common areas, including changes to the dining area that now allow for better access and comfort for all residents to experience Five Star’s award winning Signature Dining program.
Beyond the cosmetic aspect of the refurbishment project, these changes to the common areas build upon the Five Star LifeStyle360 program which is a holistic approach to senior wellness and active community living, that both Morningside of Georgetown & Rock Hill implemented earlier this year. Numerous studies continue to show that a nurturing home environment that is brighter and more welcoming can have marked positive effects on seniors’ health, specifically their social wellness, and with other residents and staff members.
