SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Plaza Bank (OTCBB:PZBW) is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael J. Clabby, Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, to Acting President and Chief Executive Officer. Clabby succeeded Michael Paul effective November 20, 2015. In this role, Clabby will provide overall leadership to the Bank’s management while working closely with the Board of Directors.
In making this announcement Board Chairman Don Burton said, “We are very excited about the transition to Mike Clabby as our President and look forward to his contributions.”
Mr. Clabby joined Plaza Bank in 2012. He was instrumental in forming a team to carry out the corporate mission on loan quality and portfolio management to ensure future company success. Clabby formerly served as Executive Vice President and Regional Chief Credit Officer for First Interstate Bank in addition to several key credit administration roles in Washington and Arizona States. Clabby is a graduate of Gonzaga University and Pacific Coast Banking School. He is a former national Board member of Robert Morris Associates and is Past President of Northwest Intermediate Banking School.
