Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Launches Custom Videolicious Video App for its Network

Agents can now create and distribute slick listing videos in minutes from their mobile devices

IRVINE, Calif.--()--Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has launched a custom video-production app enabling its agents to create digital listing videos -- complete with music and graphics -- right from their mobile devices. In only minutes, agents may then share the videos with clients through the network’s online marketing and distribution platform, Marketing REsource.

The app, produced by New York City-based Videolicious, is available at no cost to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices agents. The software’s custom integration with Marketing REsource is the first of its kind in real estate, according to Videolicious.

“Our custom Videolicious app is one of the coolest things to come along in real estate,” said Gino Blefari, CEO, HSF Affiliates, LLC. “The app helps agents make high-quality videos at no cost to them. It’s a great way to generate buzz and interest in new listings.”

Videolicious is the next in a roster of online tools available to the network through Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ Global Network Platform (GNP). Beyond Marketing REsource, GNP tools include powerful lead generation, a social media platform, a hand mobile app and other resources.

“Our Videolicious app leverages the two biggest trends in real estate marketing – mobile and video,” said Stephen Phillips, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. “In addition to compelling listing videos, our agents are creating neighborhood tour videos, personal profiles, customer testimonials and much more. The uses are seemingly endless.”

Kyle Rank, managing broker at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices York Simpson Underwood Realty in Chapel Hill, NC, said he and his agents are becoming avid users. “Videolicious is easy to use and has stimulated my agents to increase their usage of video in their marketing,” Rank explained. “The best thing is we can produce quality videos without complicated and time-consuming editing. In fact, it’s fun to make a Videolicious video.”
