LINDON, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NUVI™ (http://www.nuvi.com), a leading solution for real-time social media listening and reporting, has named Cameron Jensen as chief executive officer and Brett Allred as president and chief technology officer.
“These changes mark a new chapter for NUVI. We have an extraordinary opportunity to impact the social media monitoring and research industry, and I can’t think of two better leaders to do so,” said Keith Nellesen, former interim CEO and current executive chairman of the board. “Cameron and Brett have demonstrated to the board that they are more than capable of executing our strategy to scale and grow NUVI. Between Cam’s unique leadership skills and Brett’s ability to analyze and solve problems, I’m more confident about NUVI’s future than I have ever been.”
Nellesen, Jensen and Allred have grown NUVI’s workforce by nearly 7x over the past six quarters to more than 130 employees, while growing monthly recurring revenue by more than 250 percent annually. NUVI now boasts more than 1,000 brands and agencies using its award-winning platform and has quickly emerged as a market leader.
“I am honored and excited to lead NUVI in our mission to transform the social media monitoring and research industry,” said Jensen. “I love what we have become at NUVI. I believe in the team that has been assembled here. We are providing a great solution to companies around the world and will continue to build upon that success.”
Jensen started his professional career in the National Football League as a linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks. After Jensen completed his time in the league, Nellesen hired him at Vivint as an organizational planning and design specialist, before Jensen joined NUVI in 2012. Jensen was recognized with a 2015 SAMY award (Utah Sales & Marketing Executive of the Year) recognizing his success in growing subscription revenue at NUVI.
Allred has been with NUVI since March 2014 serving as its chief operating officer, where he has used his diverse tech and entrepreneurial background to support NUVI’s extraordinary growth into a market leader. After selling his first company at the age of 23, Allred moved into the software industry, honing his engineering skills through his work with multiple local startups, most recently MX (formerly MoneyDesktop). In 2015, Utah Business Magazine recognized Allred with a 40 Under 40 Award for up and coming professionals.
