NEW YORK & TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Allianz Group’s specialist corporate insurer Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty® (AGCS) announced today that Robert (Bob) J. Fellows has been named head of market management for Canada, effective January 4, 2016. Based in Toronto, he will report directly to Ulrich Kadow, chief agent for Canada.
In this new role, Mr. Fellows is responsible for overall global broker management as well as distribution and client management. AGCS Canada is one of the country’s largest industrial insurance carriers and is positioned for continued growth within multiple lines of business.

Mr. Fellows is a respected senior executive offering more than 30 years of experience in the insurance sector and a proven track record of profitability and growth. Most recently, he served as senior vice president, distribution and regional management for Zurich, Canada. Prior to this, he was president and chief agent for Travelers Canada. Mr. Fellows also sits on the Board of the Insurance Institute of Ontario and is a member of its Governing Council.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Bishop’s University in Quebec, a Master of Business Administration from York University in Toronto and holds an Associate (AIIC) designation level from the Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC).
