REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rocket Fuel (NASDAQ: FUEL), a leading Programmatic Marketing Platform provider, today announced it has added A.J. Carrillo and Jesse Contario to its politics and advocacy group to support the growing demand for its programmatic advertising solutions. Carrillo and Contario will be responsible for designing, selling and supporting programmatic solutions for Rocket Fuel’s political and advocacy partners as these organizations seek to create awareness and influence opinion leaders, association members, registered voters and engaged citizens in the 2016 election and beyond.
“Political strategists are turning to Rocket Fuel to power their programmatic advertising campaigns because it remains politically neutral while processing staggering amounts of data using Moment Scoring™ to deliver the right ad, in the right context, at the right time,” said J.C. Medici, Rocket Fuel’s national director of politics and advocacy. “A.J. and Jesse have a deep understanding of how best to leverage data that will drive successful political and advocacy campaigns. This human talent coupled with our unrivaled machine learning technology are a powerful combination.”
Rocket Fuel’s recently released study, “Preparing for 2016 Part III: Immigration” demonstrates how it is no longer enough to simply leverage a file, party preference, or income-level demographic to reach voters. Political advertisers can use much more than just voter files to target their ads to constituents in swing states. The company’s Part III study examines general attitudes and swing-state voter response towards immigration, in particular “Path to Citizenship” and “Education of Undocumented Children.”
A.J. Carrillo, senior account executive, most recently guided the People's National Movement (PNM) in Trinidad and Tobago to an unprecedented win in its 2015 parliamentary election as their data director. Prior to that, Carrillo spent three years as the business development director for NationBuilder, a community-organizing software company. He helped grow the organization from a small company to a global organization with more than 8,000 customers worldwide.
Jesse Contario, account executive, comes to Rocket Fuel from Resonate, a marketing intelligence firm. While at Resonate, Contario primarily focused on research strategies and targeted advertising solutions to address clients’ digital media challenges. Drawing on his political consulting experience as a pollster, he regularly spoke on panels and wrote contributed content pieces on the importance of digital media, the role of digital media in campaign politics, and best practices in measuring the impact of digital.
