ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--National DCP, (NDCP) the $2 billion supply chain management company serving the franchisees of Dunkin’ Donuts, has been ranked sixth on the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s list of “Top 50 Private Companies” in the October 23 edition of the publication. The information was compiled based on 2014 annual revenue.
“Our company moved to metro Atlanta in 2013 in order to support Dunkin’s rapidly expanding geographic footprint,” explained NDCP Chief Executive Officer Scott Carter. “We are thrilled to be recognized on this highly respected list of local companies, debuting in the top ten below brands that are household names.”
National DCP employs more than 1,700 team members at its headquarters in Duluth, Georgia, seven regional distribution centers, and 32 logistics hubs throughout the U.S. The organization was formed as a membership cooperative following the successful merger of five different operating companies in 2012 to support Dunkin’s growth and expansion plans. Leveraging their expertise in strategic sourcing, purchasing and distribution, NDCP has saved its members more than $200 million cumulatively since its inception.
