BASKING RIDGE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Barnes & Noble Education, Inc. (NYSE:BNED), today announced the appointment of Suzanne Andrews as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Barnes & Noble Education, Inc.
As General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Ms. Andrews will be responsible for all legal matters for Barnes & Noble Education, and its subsidiaries, including management of outside counsel. She will provide guidance to the company and its Board of Directors on all corporate governance and Securities and Exchange Commission matters, including public disclosures.
Prior to joining Barnes & Noble Education, Ms. Andrews served as General Counsel to Investors Bank and prior to that was General Counsel to Healthcare Finance Group. Ms. Andrews has also held positions with several law firms located in New York.
Ms. Andrews is a member of the New Jersey, New York, and Washington D.C. bars, and earned a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University.
